Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how BuildandTeach Technology LLC ("BuildandTeach," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information across our apps and web products, including Sweet Studio, Gig Driver Income Tracker, Sweet Dance Moves Library, Memory Match: Brain Games, and Memory Master (collectively, the "Services"). We're a small, independent studio — we collect only what we need to run and improve the Services, and we don't sell your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Not every app or product collects every category below — what applies depends on that specific app's features. Accounts and cloud sync currently apply only to Sweet Studio; advertising and additional analytics apply only to the specific apps that include them. You can always check an app's own App Store listing (under "App Privacy") for exactly what that app collects.

Account information

For apps or products that offer accounts (currently, Sweet Studio), we collect information like your email address and any profile details you choose to provide.

Content you provide

Where a Service lets you save preferences, routines, or other content within the app or web product, that content is stored so it's available to you across sessions or devices.

Usage & device data

Apple automatically provides us with baseline crash and performance data for all of our iOS apps by default through App Store Connect — this applies platform-wide and isn't something we add per app. Beyond that baseline, some apps may include additional analytics tools to understand usage patterns (such as app version, general device model, and basic in-app activity); where this applies, it's limited to app usage and device information, not the content of what you do.

Advertising data

Some — not all — of our apps display ads through third-party advertising networks. Where an app does, those networks may collect device identifiers (such as your device's advertising identifier) and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to their own privacy policies and to your device's ad-tracking permissions. Ad-free apps in our lineup don't involve this at all.

Information you send us directly

If you contact us for support or through our contact form, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.

3. How We Use Information

Depending on which app or product you use, we use the information described above to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including account features on Sweet Studio
• Diagnose and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Services
• Serve and measure advertising in the specific apps that include ads
• Understand usage trends in the apps that include analytics, so we can improve them
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

4. Third-Party Services

Not every Service uses every provider below — each is used only by the specific apps or products that need it:

• Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchase billing for our iOS apps, plus baseline crash reporting that applies platform-wide to all of them
• Advertising networks — used only by the specific apps that display ads
• Analytics tools — used only by the specific apps that include additional usage analytics beyond Apple's baseline
• Hosting & infrastructure providers — host Sweet Studio and our website (including Firebase Hosting)
• FormSubmit — processes messages sent through our website contact form and delivers them to our support inbox

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We choose providers that align with our commitment to minimal, necessary data collection.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We don't sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With the third-party service providers listed above, as needed to operate the Services
• If required by law, subpoena, or legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of BuildandTeach, our users, or the public
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we'd notify you if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Services. You can request deletion at any time:

• Sweet Studio: sign in and go to Account Settings → Delete Account, which removes your account and associated data.
• iOS apps: deleting the app from your device removes any data stored locally on that device.
• Any Service: email support@buildandteach.com with the app name and we'll delete data we hold on our servers, except where we're required to retain it for legal or legitimate business reasons (such as fraud prevention).

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@buildandteach.com and we'll delete it.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@buildandteach.com. You can also:

• Limit ad tracking through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking)
• Delete your account or app data as described in Section 6
• Opt out of non-essential email communications, if we send any, using the unsubscribe link provided

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data appropriately for a service of our size.

10. International Users

Our Services are operated from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be reflected here — please check back periodically.
